The 2007 and eighth annual Lake Tahoe Family Encampment (TFE) will again be held at historic Camp Richardson, a privately-owned 750-acre campground located on the southwest shore of Lake Tahoe, not far from beautiful Emerald Bay. Dates for the TFE are July 21 - July 27, 2007. Camp Richardson has over 300 tent campsites, plus RV sites and a hotel, along with grocery and gift stores, cafes, ice cream parlor, bike rentals, boating and watercraft rentals, horseback riding, hiking trails, a swimming beach and other amenities. In nearby South Lake Tahoe are scores more motels, RV parks, restaurants plus grocery stores and full shopping. In addition, South Lake Tahoe has a medical clinic and full service hospital.
Imagine camping in a campground filled only with Christians! Add in daily classes in Christian living, a Lord's Day worship of over 1,500 fellow Christians, daily superb keynote speakers, plus beautiful singing, campfire programs and organized recreational outings to a dozen or more nearby attractions and you can see why this encampment is the highlight of the year for many families.
