The Lassen St. Church of Christ is continuing the Sunset International Bible Classes.
• Epistles of John
A video course taught by Gerald Paden on the epistles (1, 2, and 3 John). We will examine some basic problems with which John deals and the primary sources and nature of Gnosticism in the first century. You will see John's approach in challenging and refuting the doctrines of the Gnostics.
Date: Starting on Wednesdays in mid-September, 2005
Location: Fellowship Hall
Time: 7:30pm
Duration of Classes: 24 Weeks
This class can be taken in three levels. One is to audit the class which only requires that you fill out the study guide and participate in class discussions. Level II has some tests and memory work which if passed will grant you a certificate for the class. Level III students have reading, research paper assignments, memory work, and tests. The level III student receives a certificate upon passing all requirements and credits can be transferred to the SIBI resident school.
